Dalzell House
Dalzell House
This is a picture made in the early evening of this historic house in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire ( Scotland ) It is located to the south of the town, on the north bank of the River Clyde.
At its core is a 15th-century tower house, with extensive additions built during the 17th and 19th centuries. In the 1980s the house was restored and divided for sale as eighteen private apartments, while the surrounding Dalzell estate is now owned by North Lanarkshire Council.
Picture info
Ths picture was taken during one of my walks in my living area, Motherwell. I especially went back to thw location that day to capture the clouds and light behind the house, which gave it both a warm and special as well as an eerie feeling.
The picture is a 300 DPI picture, ready for printing on canvas for example.
